The Syrian army troops killed several terrorists, including a senior commander of the “al-Izza Battalions and Brigades Coalition”, in military operations in Hama province on Monday.

Field sources said Ali al-Laban, a senior commander of the so-called “al-Izza Battalions and Brigades Coalition”, and three of his group members were killed in army’s operations in Kafr Zita town in the Northern countryside of Hama.

Mohammad al-Mustafa and Khaled al-Badawi were also identified among the dead.

Reports said on Sunday that one of the main military centers of Ahrar al-Sham terrorist group in the Northern part of Hama province was heavily raided by the Syrian Army. The attack left heavy casualties on the terrorists.

Ahrar al-Sham’s concentration center near Atshan village came under attack of the Syrian forces, which ended in destruction of several military vehicles and killing of at least five terrorists.

Sources said earlier on Sunday that a large number of the militants, including their Mufti (religious leader), were killed in heavy clashes with the Syrian army in Hama province.

Bassam al-Qabalan and many more militants were killed in the army operation against their strongholds in Kafr Zita.
