Syria army inflict heavy blows on terrorists in Homs, Aleppo

Syrian military troops have carried out more successful operations against intruding armed insurgents in a number of locations in Homs and Aleppo, inflicting major blows on foreign-backed terrorists, killing and wounding a huge number of militants and destroying their arms and ammunition.
Army units on Saturday continued their advance against armed insurgent groups in Bab Hud neighborhood of Homs city, which left a number of the intruding militants dead and injured, Syrian state news agency SANA reported.
Further citing a military source, the report added that Syrian government troops also advanced against insurgent positions on Sheikh Said and al-Ameriyeh axis in Aleppo city, killing and injuring a good number of foreign-backed militants and destroying their vehicles.
The source added that other army units killed and injured more armed insurgents in al-Kastilo, al-Rashideen , Alliramoun, al-Sukkari and the old city of Aleppo and in the villages of Kwairis, Jadideh, Rasem al-Abboud, as well as areas surrounding the industrial city and Aleppo Central Prison.
Units of Syrian armed forces further destroyed a number of vehicles carrying weaponry for the insurgents in Azaz, al-Atareb and Khan al-Assal. Several insurgent were killed in the operation.
