Syria Arrests Hoard of Arab Spies in Eastern Ghouta

The Syrian army has apprehended the intelligence forces of several Arab Persian Gulf littoral states in Eastern Ghouta in Damascus Countryside in a series of operations against terrorists.
“After the recent clashes in Eastern Ghouta, a number of intelligence forces of certain Persian Gulf Arab littoral states were arrested and locked up in prison,” Afif Daleh, a Syrian analyst of strategic issues, told FNA on Sunday.

He also reiterated Israel’s role in the recent clashes in Eastern Ghouta, saying that Tel Aviv has directly involved itselt in the Ghouta war because of the sensitive situation and the presence of Saudi spies in there.

“Israel provides logistical backup for the militants, specially through jamming and intercepting the Syrian army communications and disclosing the whereabouts of the Syrian army forces,” Daleh said.

The Syrian Army continues its mop-up operations in Eastern Ghouta in Reef (countryside of) Damascus to clean the area from the remnant of terrorist groups.

The Syrian army and national defense forces on Tuesday restored security and stability to al-Eteibeh area and its surrounding in Eastern Ghouta in Damascus Countryside after eliminating a militant group that infiltrated the area few days ago.

Syria has been experiencing unrest since March 2011 with organized attacks by well-armed gangs against the Syrian militaries and civilians across the country.

Thousands of people have been killed since terrorist and armed groups turned protest rallies into armed clashes.

The government blames outlaws, saboteurs, and armed terrorist groups for the deaths, stressing that the unrest is being orchestrated from abroad.
