Syria in Last 24 Hours: Army Regains Control of Strategic Highway in South

The Syrian army inflicted heavy losses on the terrorists in the Southern parts of Syria and regained control of a strategic highway.
The army units backed by artillery units took control of Damascus-Homs International highway, and killed a large number of terrorists in heavy clashes.

Also in the past 24 hours, the Army destroyed a 400-meter-long tunnel in the countryside of Aleppo.

Elsewhere, the army units also destroyed over a dozen of terrorists and killed all the passengers on board in al-Qalamoun Mountains in the countryside of Damascus.

Meanwhile, the Syrian army destroyed a large gathering of terrorists and a weapons cache in Tal Asfar area in the Northeastern countryside of Sweida province.

In Erbin town, the army carried out a special operation against one of the terrorists’ dens and killed several terrorists in clashes in Harsta.

A military source said that the Syrian army killed a number of terrorists in al-Bajabjeh neighborhood in Daraa al-Balad.

The source added that the army also killed a number of terrorists and injured several others in Sheikh Miskin and Qarfa in Daraa countrysidein Southern Syria.

Mohammad Salim al-Qarqa’e, leader of so-called “Liwa Ahbab al-Rasol” was among the terrorists killed in Daraa countryside.

Also, a unit of the army destroyed a terrorists’ hideout, killing all those inside it, in Kafr Nasij in the Northwestern countryside of Daraa province.

Also, a military source said that another army unit thwarted a terrorists’ infiltration attempt from Jordan towards Syria Southwest of al-Mata’iya in Daraa countryside.

Units of the army and armed forces launched strikes against several dens for terrorist organizations in Abu al-Duhour and the surrounding villages of al-Hamidiyeh, Um Jerin and Tal Salmo in the countryside of the Northern Idlib province.

Meanwhile, a military source confirmed on Thursday that the operations in those areas resulted in killing many of the terrorist organizations’ members, in addition to destroying several of their vehicles and weapons.

Elsewhere, units of the army killed 25 terrorists in Dkeileh and al-Bal’as areas in the countryside of the central province of Hama.
