Syrian army soldiers beat a number of Jeish al-Fatah terrorists back from their positions in the city of Aleppo after hours of clashes, inflicting major losses on them.

The Jeish al-Fatah terrorists’ attacks to capture the government forces’ positions in the Southwestern and Southern districts of Aleppo city were fended off by the strong defense of the Syrian military men.

Meantime, the Syrian army and popular forces continued their military advances in other parts of Syria, including Dara’a and Damascus, over the past 24 hours.

Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army’s operations in Syria’s key provinces.

Aleppo

Syrian Army soldiers and popular forces fended off Jeish al-Fatah’s attacks on government forces in the Southwestern and Southern districts of Aleppo city, killing at least 25 and wounding many more.

Syrian government forces repelled Jeish al-Fatah’s offensives on their strongholds in the districts and neighborhoods of Zahiyeh al-Assad, al-Rashedeen 4 and 5, Sowq a-Jebes, Housing Project 1070, al-Hikmeh School and Jam’iyat al-Sahafi’ein, inflicting at least 25 casualties on the militants.

Syrian artillery and missile units assisted the army soldiers in their defense.

In the meantime, a large number of fresh soldiers joined the army front in Zahiyeh al-Assad.

Army sources said earlier on Friday that Syrian Government forces have been engaged in heavy fighting with Jeish al-Fatah terrorists in at least four neighborhoods in Western Aleppo city, adding, “Militants have thus far suffered a heavy death toll in the clashes.”

“Syrian army soldiers and popular forces have inflicted major losses and tens of casualties on Jeish al-Fatah’s militants in Jam’iyat al-Zahra district, Scientific Research Center, and neighborhoods of al-Kathar al-Bazar and Family House,” the sources said.

“A militant tank and two more explosive-laden cars of the militants also were targeted in the Western districts of Aleppo,” they added.

“One more bomb-laden suicide vehicle of the terrorists was targeted and detonated in al-Rashedeen neighborhood in the Southern outskirts of Aleppo city,” the sources went on to say.

Dara’a

Syrian Army’s artillery units opened heavy fire at militants’ strongholds and gatherings in Dara’a and four different regions in its countryside, inflicting major casualties on the terrorists.

The Syrian artillery units targeted al-Araba’een neighbor hood in Dara’a al-Balad district.

Also, terrorists’ positions in the Western side of Saida prison and Eastern side of al-Naimeh town in Eastern Dara’a were massively shelled by the artillery units.

In the meantime, the artillery units pounded militants’ defense lines Southwest of Dara’a Dam and Tal (Hill) Shahab in Western Dara’a.

The terrorists suffered a heavy death toll in the artillery attacks.

Damascus

Syrian military forces inflicted major casualties on the terrorists in Western Ghouta and pushed them back from a key military base near Khan al-Sheih.

Syrian Army soldiers drove terrorists out of the Missile Battalion, also known as Tal (Hill) al-Emad, al-Zakiyeh Fort and Madajen in Khan al-Sheih region.

Heavy clashes are underway in the farms near the town of Khan al-Sheih from Deir al-Khabiyeh direction, local sources said, adding, “Syrian government forces have laid siege on the entrance of Kahn al-Sheih town.”

“Heavy fire of the army tanks and artillery units played a crucial role in the army advances,” the sources added.

The hill of air defense in a region between al-Abasiyeh and al-Zakiyeh also came under the full control of the Syrian government forces.

Reports said earlier on Friday that Syrian military forces fended off Jeish al-Islam’s attack on government forces’ positions near a key town in Eastern Ghouta, inflicting major casualties on the terrorists.

Jeish al-Islam began the offensive by storming the Syrian soldiers’ defense lines near the football fields in the town of al-Reihan, resulting in fierce clashes that lasted for nearly two hours.

The terrorist group failed to prevail over government forces’ position and retreated from the battlefield towards the hilltop village of Tal Kurdi after leaving behind several dead members.

Quneitra

Syrian Army’s missile units shelled a main base of the terrorist groups in Northern Quneitra, killing several militants and destroying their machineguns and equipment.

The Syrian missile units targeted terrorists’ base in Tal al-Hamriyeh hilltop in Northern Quneitra, killing most of the militants inside the base.

In the meantime, most of the machineguns and other military hardware in the base were destroyed in the attack.

Homs

Several military vehicles of the terrorist groups on a road in Northern Homs were destroyed in a joint attack of the Syrian Army soldiers and National Defense Forces.

Syrian government forces targeted and destroyed several military vehicles of the terrorist groups on a road connecting Borj al-Qai to the village of Keisin.
