Meantime, the terrorists launched rocket attacks on al-Rashedeen residential area in al-Jamilieh district in the city of Aleppo. Aleppo The Turkish Army's artillery units launched heavy attacks on Kurdish militants' military positions in Northern Aleppo amid heavy clashes between the two sides, battlefield sources said Tuesday. "The Turkish Army's artillery heavily pounded the military positions of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the surrounding areas of Kajabrin in Northern Aleppo," the Arabic-language media quoted battlefield sources as saying. Meantime, the Kurdish fighters and the Free Syrian Army militants engaged in fierce clashes in Mar'anaz region to the South of Izaz in Northern Aleppo. There are no reports on the precise number of casualties. Homs A large number of civilians residing in al-Rukban Refugee Camp in the US-controlled al-Tanf region in Homs province fled the area as tens of militants have applied for amnesty, the Arabic-language media reports said Tuesday. Around 4,000 civilians residing in al-Rukban refugee camp which is under the control of the US Army have crossed Jaligham crossing to reach areas under the control of the Syrian Army after fleeing al-Tanf region over the past month, the Arabic-language al-Watan newspaper quoted a source, speaking on condition of anonymity as saying. The source said the camp would be a derelict region and dismantled soon if civilian exit continues at the present pace. "And if an agreement is struck by the two sides on the status of the al-Rukban refugee camp, those terrorists who are not looking for amnesty will be transferred to Jordan or Northern Syria along with their families." There are about 40,000 to 60,000 people residing in al-Rukban Camp and about 2,500 of them have managed to leave the camp, Al-Watan quoted special sources as saying. The sources said the exit of the civilians came after terrorists sought to block their departure from leaving al-Rukban camp. The families who have escaped al-Rukban have confirmed lack of food and hygienic possibilities in the camp, adding that the US-backed terrorists keep people hungry and prevent their evacuation. Based on media reports, the US troops occupying a 55-km zone in Southern Syria block Russian and Syrian diplomatic and military officials from entering Rukban to provide people with humanitarian aid.
