Syria: Popular Uprising against Terrorists Reported in Eastern Ghouta

The sources said that residents of several settlements, including Saqba, Kafr Batna and Hamouriyeh took to the streets and called for expulsion of terrorists from Eastern Ghouta.

The sources further said that the protestors hoisted the Syrian army flag and called for deployment of the pro-government forces to Eastern Ghouta.

The sources added that the terrorist groups have started kidnapping civilians to prevent them from leaving Eastern Ghouta amid rapid advances of the army men.

A group of terrorists laid down arms on Sunday and surrendered to the Syrian Army troops amid rapid advances of the pro-government forces in the region.

A group of terrorists handed over their weapons and ammunition to the army men and applied for government amnesty after the army managed to advance in Harasta region.

Harasta has come under the army siege after the pro-government forces’ advances on Friday and Saturday nights.
