Syria Terrorists Destroy Sayyeda Sakina’s Golden Dome

With an obvious greed towards destruction, vandalism and tampering with all the Syrian religious and cultural heritage, the terrorist groups targeted a great religious symbol in Damascus.

Days after the Syrian army controlled the region around the holy shrine of Sayyeda Sakina [PBUH], the armed groups in rural Damascus , destroyed the Golden Dome of the holy shrine by their continuous attacks of Grad missiles.

Since less than a month ago, the Syrian army, supported by troops from the “National Defense” regained control of Sayyeda Sakina shrine.

They also managed to clear the region from terrorists, who restored to attacking the worship place by homemade rockets , until they were able to destroy the golden dome of the shrine.

This crime shows the barbarism and criminal attitude of the armed groups, away from all religious values and norms.

Meanwhile, the Syrian army has killed scores of foreign-backed armed mercenaries and seized their weapons during an ongoing campaign across the country.

Syrian government forces launched security operations against the militants in the provinces of Damascus, Aleppo, Deir Ezzor, Homs, Idlib and Daraa on Tuesday and killed a large number of them, the official SANA news agency reported.
They also captured a large number of machine guns, sniper rifles, rocket launchers, mortar shells and explosive devices.
In Aleppo, the army units destroyed several cars full of weapons and ammunition, and killed a number of militants.
In Idlib, the national military destroyed eight cars equipped with anti-aircraft guns.
Moreover, government troops attacked groups of “terrorists” in the Damascus suburbs of Khan al-Sheeh and Daraya city, killing all of them.
