Syria: Terrorists Executing Abducted Civilians Massively in Eastern Ghouta

Local sources in Eastern Ghouta said the terrorists open fire at anyone that tries to leave the militant-held regions in Eastern Ghouta via the Jesrin-al-Malihah humanitarian corridor, while they are also conducting field execution to intimidate the public trapped in the region.

“They are also killing those people that they had abducted or jailed,” they added.

The sources further said that terrorists are in fear and panic due to the rapid advances of the army, committing severe brutalities against families in the region.

Other sources said that the terrorists might be killing abducted civilians to also claim that the army attacks are claiming the lives of civilians in the region.

The army men have been significantly advancing in the region, dividing the terrorist-held regions in Eastern Ghouta into the three parts of Harasta, Douma and the Southern areas.

Military sources reported on Sunday that the army troops continued to march on the terrorists in the depth of Eastern Ghouta and drove a wedge between the Southern and Northern parts of Eastern Ghouta.

The sources said that the army men deployed in the newly-freed town of Mesraba stormed terrorists’ strongholds in the depth of Eastern Ghouta and drove the terrorists out of the strategic Modira settlement.

They went on to say that the army men further reached the Vehicles Management Center in Harasta and managed to divide Eastern Ghouta into two parts.

The army has been significantly advancing against terrorists in Eastern Ghouta in the last two weeks and freed important regions, including Beit Sawa and Mesraba.
