The Syrian Army troops, backed up by the Syrian fighter jets and artillery units, fended off the terrorists’ attack in Northern Hama and forced them to retreat from the battlefield.

The Syrian soldiers’ strong defense and the heavy bombardments of the country’s warplanes and artillery shelling repelled the offensive of al-Nusra Front and Ahrar al-Sham of the military posts along the axis of Maan-Tal Bazam in the Northern part of Hama province.

At least 25 terrorists were killed and many more were wounded in the unsuccessful attacks.

In relevant developments in the province on Friday, at least 10 terrorists were killed and several more were wounded in the Syrian military forces’ anti-terrorism offensives in the Northwestern territories of Hama province, army sources said.

“Khirbet al-Naqous was the scene of heavy fighting between the Syrian soldiers and the militants,” the sources said, adding, “The clashes ended in the killing of at least 10 of terrorists, while their military equipment also sustained major damage.”
