Syria: Terrorists’ Monitoring Position, Bomb-Making Workshop Destroyed by Army in Dara’a

The Syrian Army troops tracked and targeted the al-Nusra Front’s monitoring position West of Dara’a and the terrorist group’s bomb-making workshop East of the city, inflicting major losses on the militants’ sites.

The Syrian soldiers targeted monitoring and reconnaissance position of al-Nusra terrorists East of al-Khuder Hill, 7km East of Dara’a city, which ended in the destruction of the position completely with all arms and ammunition inside the position.

In al-Naima region , East of Dara’a city, the Syrian army men destroyed a den used by al-Nusra terrorists for manufacturing the explosive devices and bombs.

In relevant developments in the Southern province on Wednesday, Syrian military sources announced that the Army troops, tipped off by intelligence agents, disbanded a network of terrorists in Northern Dara’a.

“The Syrian soldiers in Dara’a arrested the members of a terrorist cell in Jbab village. The 11-member terrorist cell had committed acts of murder, abduction and smuggling of arms, munitions, and money to terrorist groups,” the sources said.

“Mahmoud Abu Hawwa known as Mahmoud Darweesh, the leader of the cell, confessed to killing five locals from Jbab and admitted that the cell is linked to the terrorist groups known as al-Farouq brigade, Amoud Houran, Ajnad al-Sham, and al-Rahman brigades,” the sources added.

“He also confessed to trafficking of arms and ammunition to terrorist groups in exchange for large sums of money, and cooperating with terrorist groups positioned in al-Lajjat, Shaara, Busra al-Hareer, Busra al-Sham, and Tafas areas,” they went on to say.
