Syrian Air Force destroys jihadist weapons depot in rural Idlib

 

The Syrian Arab Air Force (SAAYF) carried out a strategic raid above the the Idlib Governorate on Thursday, targeting a weapons depot that belonged to Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham.

According to a Syrian government activists, the Syrian Arab Air Force reportedly destroyed this large weapons depot while launching airstrikes over the jihadist-controlled town of Kafr Nubl in Idlib’s rural countryside.

The jihadist weapons depot reportedly stored U.S. manufactured anti-tank TOW missiles that were confiscated from their allies in the Free Syrian Army (FSA).


Recently, the Syrian Air Force has stepped up their airstrikes in the Idlib countryside in order to obstruct supplies from reaching the jihadist rebels in the Aleppo Governorate.
