Syrian Air Force launches heavy strikes over southern Idlib

The Syrian Air Force (SyAAF) launched another round of heavy airstrikes over southern Idlib last night, targeting several areas controlled by the terrorists of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham.

According to a military report from nearby Hama, the Syrian Air Force targeted Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s positions near the key town of Khan Sheikhoun in southern Idlib.

The Syrian Air Force’s strikes near Khan Sheikhoun were carried out shortly after they targeted Jaysh Al-Izza’s bases and trenches at the towns of Al-Latamnah and Kafr Zita.

These airstrikes by the Syrian Air Force have recently increased in response to the expansion of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham in southern Idlib.

Furthermore, with the rebel groups refusing to leave the demilitarized zone, the Syrian Arab Army has been pushing to launch a new offensive to expel them from this area.
