Syrian Army Advances in Homs Province, Foils ISIL Terrorists’ Attack in Deir Ezzor

SANA reporter said that army units after midnight on Sunday clashed with terrorist groups affiliated to ISIL after they infiltrated into the surroundings of Deir Ezzor Airport and Liwa al-Tamin, killing a number of terrorists while the remnants fled away.
The reporter added that the army’s artillery destroyed gatherings and positions of ISIL terrorists in the area of al-Maqaber “cemeteries”, in the surroundings of the Electricity Company, Liwa al-Tamin, the airport, al-Maqabat area and al-Jafra village in the eastern countryside of the province.

An army unit also destroyed a vehicle for ISIL and killed a number of terrorists in al-Maqaber area on the southern outskirts of Deir Ezzor.

Homs

Syrian Army units in cooperation with the supporting forces restored control over Sabkhat al-Mooh and the power transmission plant in the countryside of Palmyra city in Homs Province, according to a military source.
