Syrian Army Advancing towards Key Airbase in Idlib from Southern Aleppo

The army men, operating in Southern Aleppo towards Abu al-Dhohour airbase in Southeastern Idlib, stormed the Al-Nusra strongholds and captured the village of Jabal al-Has.

The army men further advanced against Al-Nusra and imposed control over Tal (hill) al-Maqbara and Tal Abu Roweil, located between Mount al-Has and Abu al-Dhohour airbase.

The army is trying to advance towards Abu al-Dhohour in three directions to capture the military airports and its nearby regions.

Well-informed sources reported earlier today that nine members of the elite units of Al-Nusra have been killed and two dozen more have been injured in the army attack near Abu al-Dhohour airbase.

The sources said also that the artillery and missile units opened heavy fire at Al-Nusra movements and positions at Abu al-Dhohour military airport and it nearby regions.
