Syrian Army attacks terrorists along Turkish border

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) carried out a powerful attack inside the northern countryside of the Latakia Governorate, tonight, a military source told Al-Masdar News.

Using surface-to-surface missiles and artillery shells, the Syrian Arab Army repeatedly struck the positions of the jihadist rebels in the Jabal Turkmen region of Latakia.

The Syrian Army was reportedly targeting areas where the jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham were gathering along the Turkish border.

Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham and their allies are reportedly preparing to launch a major offensive in northern Latakia that is meant to avenge their comrades in southern Syria.

The jihadist rebels recently released pictures of their troops preparing to launch a new attack against the Syrian Arab Army and their allies in this mountainous region.

With their troops on high alert, the Syrian Army has taken the offensive role in northern Latakia in order to inflict as much damage on the enemy forces.
