Syrian Army destroys terrorist HQ in northern Homs

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) carried out a special operation on Thursday that targeted the headquarters of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham in the northern countryside of the Homs Governorate.

Led by their Special Mission Forces, the Syrian Arab Army destroyed headquarters of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham in the town of Ghanto, killing several militants during the short operation.

Following the destruction of the jihadist headquarters, the Syrian Air Force emerged in the northern countryside of Homs, striking Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham’s positions in the Al-Rastan Plain.

While northern Homs sees very little clashes, the jihadist rebels still maintain a large presence in both Al-Rastan and Houla, which requires the Syrian Arab Army to keep a large number of soldiers at this front.
