Syrian Army Drives ISIL out of More Regions in Homs

 

The Syrian Army troops stormed the positions of the remaining pockets of ISIL in Badiyeh (deseret) of Homs, and won control over five more regions on Tuesday.

The army men engaged in a tough battle with ISIL in Southeastern Homs in Badiyeh and pushed them back from Damloukh al-Warak, Damalikh al-Warak, Tal al-Kabad, Ba’ar al-Tayariyah and Tal al-Atshan regions.

The army further killed or wounded a number of terrorists and destroyed their weapons.

Field sources said that the army intends to use the newly-captured regions as its first defense line in Syria’s desert.

Also on Monday, the army men engaged in fierce clashes with ISIL in a region between T2 Pumping Station in Southwestern Deir Ezzur and T3 Station in Eastern Homs, killing or wounding a number of terrorists.

In the meantime, the army’s artillery and missile units and aircraft pounded ISIL’s positions and movements in Eastern Homs’ desert.

Also, a field source reported that several vehicles were destroyed and a number of terrorists were killed in Syrian air raid on ISIL’s convoy near T2 Station.

Meanwhile, the army’s engineering units discovered a field hospital with several operation rooms, medical devices and medicines in a mop-up operation in the town of Taldou in Northern Homs.
