Syrian Army Drives Terrorists out of more Positions in Dara’a City


The Syrian Army troops engaged in fierce clashes with Al-Nusra Front (also known as Fatah al-Sham Front or the Levant Liberation Board) and managed to liberate a part of a key neighborhood in Dara’a city.

The army men attacked the positions of Al-Nusra and pushed the terrorists back from part of al-Manshiya neighborhood in the Southern city of Dara’a, RIA Novosti reported.

According to the news agency, currently, the government forces are conducting an intense battle against terrorists in Dara’a districts.

RIA Novosti added that the Al-Nusra has lost a large number of forces in the army attack.

Late last week, the army units had also targeted the gatherings and fortified positions of Al-Nusra Front terrorists in Dara’a city and its countryside, killing a number of them and destroying their vehicles and weapons.

The army troops carried out special operations against Al-Nusra terrorists in Dara’a al-Balad area in Dara’a city and in Tal Hamad and Nawa in the city’s Northern countryside last Sunday.

The operations inflicted tens of losses on the terrorists and destroyed three of their military vehicles.
