Syrian Army enters strategic town in northern Hama

Moments ago, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) reportedly entered the strategic town of Souran after a short battle with the jihadist rebels in northern Hama.

According to an Al-Masdar field correspondent, the Syrian Armed Forces entered Souran from two different axes, paving the way for their seizure of several sites inside this strategic town in the northern Hama countryside.

Today’s advance in Souran comes just hours after the Syrian Armed Forces seized the large hilltop of Tal Al-Dour, which overlooks the town’s eastern flank.
