Syrian Army Foils an Infiltration Attempt of Armed Terrorist Group offshore

A military unit positioned north of Lattakia on Saturday confronted an infiltration attempt of an armed terrorist group offshore.

An official source told SANA reporter that members of the military unit clashed with the terrorists who were boarding inflatable boats, forcing them to flee.

The source stated that the clash led to the martyrdom and injuries of a number of military unit while it was not clear or calculating the number of killed terrorists as they attacked the military unit at night.
The site of the military unit is 30-35 KM away from the Turkish borders.

Lebanese Army Seizes Ship Carrying Weapons from Libya to Terrorists in Syria

The Lebanese Army on Friday seized a ship in Lebanon’s territorial waters loaded with weapons intended to be delivered to terrorists in Syria.

According to Lebanon’s NBN TV channel, preliminary investigations by the army showed that the ship was to dock in northern Lebanon in preparation for transporting the weapons to armed groups in Syria, and that the ship was intercepted by the Lebanese Army and UNIFIL forces.

Meanwhile, al-Manar TV channel reported that the ship came from Alexandria, Egypt, and was headed to Tripoli, and that when the navy searched it they found three containers full of weapons, including cannons and heavy machineguns.
