“Our enemies are the US, Britain and the Zionist regime (of Israel)”:Top Commander

Iran’s relations with the neighboring states are good and friendly and minor differences cannot undermine these good ties, Chief of Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces Major General Hassan Firouzabadi said.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran has good relations with all its neighbors,” Firouzabadi told FNA on Wednesday, adding, “The existence of some differences which are only some misunderstandings with historical background will not have impacts on the good ties between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the neighbors.”

He said Muslim nations have ample commonalities and these commonalities can pave the ground for Islamic unity.

“Our enemies are the US, Britain and the Zionist regime (of Israel) and we have ideological and principal difference with them and they are constantly plotting against Islam and Muslims,” Firouzabadi said.

Iranian officials, including the Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Seyed Ali Khamenei, have repeatedly called on the worldwide Muslims to enhance unity and solidarity to defuse enemy plots.

The Leader of Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Seyed Ali Khamenei said during an address to a group of Iranian officials, ambassadors of Muslim states and Iranian people in September that Muslim nations should get closer to each other day by day and move in line with unity because that’s the sole way of campaign against enemies of Islam.
