Syrian Arab Army’s Republican Guard, backed by Hezbollah and Kata’eb Al-Ba’ath, launched a new assault in the southern sector of Aleppo, targeting the key district of Salahiddeen, which is under the control of Fatah Halab.

Led by the 800th Regiment of the Republican Guard, the Syrian Armed Forces and Hezbollah stormed the Salahiddeen District, striking Fatah Halab’s defenses at the Sa’eed ‘Ali area.

Following an intense battle last night, the Syrian Armed Forces and Hezbollah managed to secure several building blocks in the Sa’eed ‘Ali area, inflicting heavy losses on the enemy forces.

However, the Syrian Armed Forces did not stop there; instead, they pressed the jihadist rebels of Fatah Halab and Jaysh Al-Fateh at several other sites, including the 1070 Al-Hamdaniyah Housing Project and the Sheikh Sa’eed District.

Intense clashes are currently ongoing at several axes in southern Aleppo, as the Syrian Armed Forces and Hezbollah attempt to expel the remaining jihadists from this area
