Syrian Army hits Al Qaeda north of Lattakia

Syrian Arab Army has implemented a series of operations in the northern villages of Lattakia province, killing dozens of Al Qaeda members.
17 militants were killed in an army’s operation in Awan village. Taher al-Othman Abu al-Abed and the leader Abu Jubran al-Aurduni were identified among the killed gunmen.
Breaking News Network correspondent pointed out that the army’s operations continued in Drushan village, killing 13 gunmen, including Abu al-Laith al-Libi.
Units of Armed Forces conducted another operation in al-Kabir village during which it managed to kill 19 insurgents, in addition to another operation in al-Rawdah village, killing 11 armed men, including Omar al-Fakhouri, our reporter said.
In Salma village, the army struck Al Qaeda headquarters at Marj Khoukha crossing, killing about 40 members, including Abu Omar al-Idlibi and Abu Yaman al-Libi.
