Syrian Army kills high ranking terrorist commander in east Damascus

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) killed one of the top commanders of the recently formed terrorist coalition, Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham, in the eastern suburbs of Damascus today, local activists reported this morning.

Abu ‘Ali Taha, one of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s top commanders in Damascus, was reportedly killed by a Syrian Arab Army sniper in the Al-Qaboun suburb of the capital.

Al-Masdar’s Damascus correspondent, Ibrahim Joudeh, reported on Wednesday that Abu ‘Ali Taha was considered the top commander of his rebel division in Al-Qaboun and one of the leaders regionally.

The rebel commander was killed alongside his cousin, while they were traveling through the Al-Qaboun suburb.
