Syrian Army launch surprise large attack at dawn this morning on the “Al-Harrat” district of Damascus

The Syrian Army reinforced by Tanks and Artillery launched a surprise attack at dawn this morning on the “Al-Harrat” district of Damascus, targeting Terrorist nests with Artillery, and with ongoing clashes raging since the Army stormed the area, Tanks shelled Armed Terrorist positions at the “Qays” roundabout and in the eastern district, which resulted in the elimination of more than 30 Terrorists and wounding many, while other Units of our Armed Forces destroyed a weapons and ammunition warehouse, and seized control over a large number of blocks of Buildings as well as the “Northern Square”, in addition to erecting a Military Checkpoint, resulting in a successful Operation, as the Army continue to progress
