Syrian Army on the offensive in Ghouta after surprise attack on Khan Al Sheih

Syrian Arab Army managed to capture the Air Defense Base that is located at the outskirts of Khan Al-Sheih after a fierce battle with Fateh Al Sham Movement (formerly Al Nusra Front, Syrian Al Qaeda).

As a result of their advance on Friday, the Syrian Armed Forces have fully encircled Khan Al-Sheih, forcing the remaining militants to head back to the town.

According to a military source in Damascus, the terrorists have sent a peace delegation to the frontlines in order to negotiate a possible surrender of Khan Al-Sheih in the coming days, AMN reports.
