Syrian Army, Palestinian forces keep advancing in southern Damascus amid heavy resistance from ISIS

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) continued their large-scale advance in the southern districts of Damascus this afternoon, seizing more ground from the Islamic State (ISIS) forces in the southeastern part of Al-Qadam.

Backed by several Palestinian paramilitaries, the Syrian Army managed to score a swift advance near the Hajar Al-Aswad axis, leaving them within striking distance of this large town in southern Damascus.

This new advance came just two hours after the Syrian Arab Army and their Palestinian allies liberated a dozen farms and buildings from the Islamic State terrorists in the Al-Qadam District.

The Syrian Arab Army and their Palestinian allies are now attempting to secure the Qadam-Hajar Al-Aswad axis .
