Syrian Army Restores Security of Baba Amro in Homs

The Syrian army restored security neighborhood of Baba Amro in the city of Homs, as it prevented armed groups to advance in many areas across the crisis-hit country.

SANA news agency reported that Syrian troops also destroyed several militant hideouts in the western city on Monday, several weeks after terrorist groups affiliated to the al-Nusra Front had run over the area.

Meanwhile, the agency added that units of the armed forces have carried out a series of the qualitative operations against the armed terrorist groups in Joubar Neighborhood in Damascus Countryside during which a store of explosive devices was demolished.

In Aleppo, the Syrian army destroyed a number of armed groups’’ dens and convoys of cars along with weapon and ammunition inside them , confiscating weapons and explosives in Aleppo and its countryside.

The Syrian forces have also destroyed a number of terrorist groups’ hideouts and gatherings in Billa Village in Lattakia Countryside, according to SANA.

A military source told SANA reporter that two stores of weapons and ammunition were destroyed completely and all the terrorists inside them were either killed or injured.
