Syrian Army spies troll Al-Qaeda once again by revealing footage from inside Abu Duhur town, airbase

Military spies linked to the intelligence service of the Syrian Arab Air Force have released video and photo evidence of their presence inside two strategic sites – one a town, the other an airbase – which are under the control of Al-Qaeda-linked militants.

On the night of Sunday to Monday, Syrian military spies released a video of their presence within the town of Abu Duhur and one photo (later on on Monday) from inside the highly strategic airbase of Abu Duhur.

Both sites are technically under the full control of the Al-Qaeda-affiliated Ha’yat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra) terrorist group, yet in many ways the leaked video and photo documentation stands testament to major weaknesses in the militia’s intelligence system to chase, detect and neutralize government spy rings.

According to Al-Masdar News journalist Ibrahim Joudeh, the entire province of Idlib – with its hundreds of rural towns and villages – is full of government spies commissioned by Syrian air force intelligence. These agents report to the operations room of the Tiger Forces Division, providing moment-by-moment information on militant gatherings, movements and positions.
