Syrian Army swarming terrorist-held Ayn Tarma from three axes

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) resumed their large-scale operation in the eastern suburbs of Damascus this morning, striking the Islamist rebels inside both ‘Ayn Tarma and Jobar.

Backed by heavy artillery and airstrikes from SyAAF, the Syrian Arab Army’s 105th Brigade of the Republican Guard captured the Sonbol Station in ‘Ayn Tarma after breaking through Faylaq Al-Rahman’s front-lines this morning.

Following the capture of the Sonbol Station, the Syrian Arab Army continued to push deeper into ‘Ayn Tarma, seizing Faylaq Al-Rahman trenches and posts around the dilapidated suburb.

Meanwhile, in Jobar, the Syrian Arab Army’s 42nd Brigade of the 4th Mechanized Division unleashed a vicious attack using surface-to-surface missiles in the Tayba District of Jobar, inflicting heavy damage on the enemy defense.

The 42nd Brigade is attempting to inflict enough damage on Faylaq Al-Rahman’s defenses so that they agree to surrender Jobar; this attack is similar to previous assaults in Darayya and Khan Al-Sheih.
