Syrian Army takes control of al-Van al-Wistani region

Syrian Arab Army units tightened control today over the region of al-Van al-Shimali following clashes with “Free Army” militia.

Breaking News Network correspondent added that large numbers of militants have been killed and their dens and tunnels were destroyed; dozens of explosive devices planted by gunmen in the highways and the citizens’ houses were dismantled.

In a related development, Dr. Anas al-Na’em, Hama governor requested from all institutions and service companies to expedite the rehabilitation of water networks, electricity and telephone, which sustained severe damage as a result of attacks by armed terrorist groups.
