Syrian Army thwarts 1200 kg explosive material in Syria

Syrian Army forces thwarted today’s morning on Sunday a plot to detonate a pre-planted bomb.

According to Syria’s state run TV, Syrian Army seized an explosive laden vehicle with 1200 kg of the highly explosive material, in al-Breij city of Damascus countryside and dismantled it without injuries.
The car was to target the al-Breij checkpoint. The insurgent elements were killed or wounded in direct fight with security forces.
Meantime, according to Al-Alam, the Syrian Army managed to kill terrorist with Jordanian, Algerian and Lebanese nationals who wanted to penetrated into Homs and collaborate in terrorist operations.
Also, Russia al-Youm reported that the Syrian Army in intense armed clashes with terrorist succeeded to retake regions from the insurgents in Rif Qasr al-Sharqi.
