The Syrian army forces continued military operations in Eastern Aleppo and could liberate two other towns in the region.

The Syrian army units and their allies engaged in several hours of clashes with the ISIL terrorists and could retake control of al-Tanbour and al-Mantaf towns located between al-Bab and Aleppo cities.

Tens of ISIL terrorists were killed and wounded during the clashes.

Meantime, the Syrian army targeted the ISIL positions in al-Madiouna and al-Salima towns as well as all the Southwestern parts of al-Bab city by artillery, aerial and missile attacks concurrent with the ground forces’ advances in the region.

Sunday reports from Northern Aleppo said that the Syrian army troops continued to advance against ISIL terrorists near the newly-liberated village of Sawran, driving them out of more key villages.

The army men that liberated the village of Sawran on Sunday morning continued their attacks on ISIL’s defense lines in the region and seized control over the villages of Sarjeh al-Saqireh, Sarjeh al-Kabireh and Maran after hours of non-stop clashes.

The ISIL suffered a heavy death toll and its military hardware sustained major damage in the clashes.

Reports also said yesterday that the army soldiers broke through ISIL’s positions in the village of Sawran to the East of the town of Azaz and entered the village, inflicting several casualties on the terrorists.
