Syrian Army wages battles against terrorists tried to block an “aid road”

Armed men re-block Khanaser- Athrya road, the only aid road that link Aleppo with the Syrian provinces through controlling many villages on this road after bringing more than 2000 armed men, most of them are foreigners, in an attempt to impose besiege on the residents of the western neighborhoods of the city.
The Syrian Newspaper “al-Watan” said that Syrian Arab Army is still carry out severe clashes against insurgents in the villages that exist between al-Sfeira and Khanaser in the East of Aleppo trying to re-open the road and let the aid shipments reach the area.
The newspaper adds that the armed men aimed to plant mines and open fire on the road targeting the aid shipments, fuel tanks and the buses that carry civilian passengers claiming the lives of dozens of them, as Khan al-Assal area also witnesses fierce clashes between the Army’s units and al-Qaeda-linked armed men.
Clashes continue between Syrian Army and al-Nusra Front-affiliated armed men in the outskirts of Bustan al-Qaser neighborhood, what resulted in the death of a large number of the armed me, including Zakaray Atek, called by “Emir al-Ma’bar”.
