Syrian Army within 500 meters away of freeing Ayn Tarma Valley in East Ghouta

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) scored another major advance in the East Ghouta region this afternoon, seizing several points from the Islamist militants.

Led by the 4th Mechanized Division, the Syrian Arab Army continued their push in the ‘Ayn Tarma Valley, where they were confronted by several militants.

 However, the militants would fail to forestall the Syrian Army’s progress, as the latter managed to capture several areas near the town of ‘Ayn Tarma.

According to a military source in Damascus, the Syrian Army is now within 500 meters of capturing the entire ‘Ayn Tarma Valley.
