Syrian Army’s lightening advance continues in east Aleppo

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and their allies are quickly advancing inside the remaining east Aleppo neighborhoods, capturing several sites amid the jihadist collapse around the provincial capital.

Backed by the Desert Hawks Brigade, the Syrian Arab Army seized the Al-Asilah Neighborhood after overrunning Fatah Halab’s main line of defense this evening.

Following the capture of the Al-Asilah Neighborhood, the Syrian Arab Army advanced to nearby Al-Jalloum, seizing much of this district near the Aleppo Citadel.

In addition to this advance near the Aleppo Citadel, the Syrian Arab Army is storming the Bustan Al-Qasir District; this is the location of some of the most intense firefights in the eastern neighborhoods.
