Syrian Ceasefire to Begin at Sunset

While the Syrian government has verbally accepted this nationwide ceasefire, some militant groups like Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham have rejected this proposal, Al Masdar reported.

Militant groups who remain embedded in terrorist camps will be considered legitimate targets for the Syrian and Russian air forces, persuant to the ceasefire agreement.

Despite the looming ceasefire, warring sides continue carrying out attacks against one another in both Southern and Northern Syria.

The United States and Russia have not provided details regarding the enforcement of this ceasefire, however, US secretary of state John Kerry did give a stern warning to the militant groups about remaining in terrorist camps.
