The Syrian warplanes targeted strongholds of the ISIL Takfiri terrorists in the Central province of Homs and destroyed their supply line, sources said.

The military sources said that a long convoy of the ISIL vehicles was destroyed in the Syrian air force’s operations in al-Abassyah area to the South of Palmyra city in the eastern countryside of Homs.

On Wednesday, a large group of the ISIL Takfiri terrorists were killed in Syrian military operations in the Eastern countryside of Homs.

The Syrian army troops killed a large group of the ISIL terrorists, and destroyed a number of their vehicles in al-Qariyatain and to the East of Jazal field in the Eastern countryside of Homs, informed sources said.

Syria has been grappling with a deadly crisis since March 2011. The violence fuelled by Takfiri groups has so far claimed the lives of over 230,000 people, according to reports. New figures show that over 76,000 people, including thousands of children, lost their lives in Syria last year.

The ISIL Takfiri terrorists currently control shrinking swathes of Syria and Iraq. They have threatened all communities, including Shiites, Sunnis, Kurds, Christians, Ezadi Kurds and others, as they continue their atrocities in Iraq.

Senior Iraqi officials have blamed Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and some Persian Gulf Arab states for the growing terrorism in their country.

The ISIL has links with Saudi intelligence and is believed to be indirectly supported by the Israeli regime.
