Syrian Forces Foil Infiltration Attempt in Quneitra

The Syrian government forces thwarted an attempt by the Takfiri militants to sneak into Tal al-Qaba’a from the forests of Jibat al-Khashab village in Quneitra province on Wednesday.

The army troops killed all assailants as they were attempting to infiltrate from the forests of Jibat al-Khashab village towards Tal al-Qaba’a in Quneitra countryside, informed sources said.

Syria has been battling foreign-sponsored militancy since March 2011. Estimates by the United Nations show that the violence fueled by Takfiri terrorist groups has so far left over 230,000 people dead and another seven million displaced.
