Syrian Foreign Ministry: Brahimi has went far from his mission

An official source in the Syrian ministry for foreign affairs answered the speech of UN envoy to Syria Lakhdar Brahimi by describing him that he went too far from his mission and showed his partiality for countries’ attitudes, known for being enemies to Syria.

SANA quoted the official in saying that Syria was really surprised from the statements of Brahimi by going too far from the mission and showing his partiality for countries that are against the Syrian nation and people.

The source said, “Everybody knows that no one can talk in the name of the Syrian People that has the highest authority to decide its destiny and political future and choose its leadership, where the Syrian People is known for rejecting any outside intervention”.
