Syrian Gov’t Forces About to Win Full Control over Another Key District in Aleppo

“Nouralddeen al-Zinki and Fatah al-Sham Front have suffered a heavy death toll in clashes with the Syrian soldiers and the Iraqi al-Nujaba movement in and outside Sheikh Saeed districts,” the sources said.

“Syrian government forces have gained the upper-hand in Sheikh Saeed and are pushing back the terrorists out of the district,” they added.

“Eight terrorists have been captured and more than 30 militants have been killed in al-Nujaba’s attacks on terrorists’ centers in Sheikh Saeed,” the sources went on to say.

Sheikh Saeed heights overlook al-Ameriyeh and al-Sakariyeh regions North of Aleppo cement factory.

Yesterday, Syrian and Russian warplanes carried out over 35 combat flights over the concentration centers of Jeish al-Fatah in the Southern districts of Aleppo, inflicting major loss and heavy casualties on the militants.

Syrian and Russian fighter jets, in over 35 airstrikes, bombed heavily terrorist targets in Sheikh Saeed and Housing Project 1070, killing at least 14 Takfiri militants in Project 1070 and destroying an arms depot in Sheikh Saeed.

The air raids paved the ground for the Syrian army troops to continue advance in Sheikh Saeed district and recapture the remaining building blocks in Project 1070.
