Syrian Interior Minister: No Stability without Combating Terrorism

Interior Minister Mohammad al-Shaar affirmed that the return of stability to Syria is not possible without combating terrorism which targets the country, its people and army since nearly two years, calling on all honest citizens to cooperate with the armed forces and law enforcement personnel to fight this organized terrorism.

“Terrorism…is the basic obstacle before the restoration of stability to the country,” al-Shaar said in an interview with the Syrian TV broadcast Tuesday.

He was not astonished at the terrorists’ target of any honest citizen who works day and night to put an end to terrorism and its tools, wondering “Any fatwa, religion or Sharia that allows those terrorists to kill their brothers and sons.”

Minister al-Shaar added that terrorism has no religion, doctrine of moral ground.
