Syrian military eliminates group of ISIS terrorists in southern Syria

A group of Daesh terrorists were spotted by the pro-government National Defense Forces (NDF) attempting to travel through the desert region in eastern Al-Sweida last night.

According to a local source in Al-Sweida, the National Defense Forces quickly confronted the group of Daesh terrorists near the Dayatha area.

A fierce battle would ensue between the National Defense Forces and Daesh terrorists, resulting in the capture of one of the terrorist combatants.

The source said the Daesh terrorist was captured by the National Defense Forces after he sustained wounds during the brief battle.

The captured Daesh terrorist admitted to the Syrian military that some 200 terrorists are still hiding out inside the desert region of eastern Al-Sweida.

He added that these Daesh terrorists had taken refuge in the desert of eastern Al-Sweida after they suffered defeats at Al-Safa and Daraa.
