Syrian official: We will back Hezbollah in any future war with Israel

Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Rai on Monday claimed that a senior unnamed Syrian official said it would back the Lebanese resistance group, Hezbollah, in any future war with Israel.

“We will be partners with Hezbollah in any future war against Israel,” the official whom the newspaper labeled “one of the senior decision-makers in Syria,” said.

This comes as Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah announced that Israel’s nuclear reactor in Dimona can be targeted by the groups missile capabilities.

The official said that Hezbollah and Syria “share a destiny” according to the Kuwaiti newspaper.
