Syrian People Determined to go ahead in Reform process, Committed to National Unity

The marches, donation campaigns and other activities in support of reform continued Thursday across the Syrian governorates, sending a clear message to the world that the Syrians are determined to push ahead with the comprehensive reform program and stick to national unity.
In Aleppo which witnesses on Friday the festival of “Salute from Loyal Aleppo to Syria”, more than one million of citizens participated in the festival that was held in cooperation between the Governorate and Syria Youth Fingerprint on the occasion of Syrian Army Day.
The festival began with the Syrian anthem, played by the Army Band in addition to some of the national and army music pieces alongside parachute parades for some pilots who parachuted while carrying national flags and pictures of President Bashar al-Assad.
The Syrian Arab renowned actress Raghda participated in the festival by delivering a speech expressing her pride of belonging to the Homeland Syria, saying:” the whole Syrians stand by the reform program.”
Later, the crowds took the oath of loyalty to the Homeland, pledging to preserve Syria, its unity and restoring the occupied Arab lands, on top, the Syrian Golan.
They also took a military oath as an expression of appreciation to the sacrifices offered by the Syrian soldiers.
In al-Quneitra, thousands of the Governorate citizens participated in raising the largest national flag with 2300 m length and 18 m width by a an voluntary initiative of the popular and civil societies.
They expressed their support to the comprehensive reform program and rejection of the foreign intervention and media misleading campaign.
In Tartous, the Corniche witnessed a march in support of the reform program, thanking the friendly countries which stood by Syria.

Participants stressed their rejectionn of all conspiracies and plots, expressing their support of the reform program which guarantees the future and gives hope to all Syrian people.

In Lattakia, Syria’s Youth Fingerprint Group organized a popular festivity in front of the Governorate Building on the occasion of swearing loyalty to homeland and to honor the Syrian Arab army.

The largest 400-meter long human flag, created by 2500 Syrian citizens, was launched from al-Jalaa Hall in Mezzeh to al-Umawiyeen Square, to express support to the reform process under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad.

Chairperson of the Union Majida Kteit said the Syrian people are very thankful of China’s stances in support of the peoples’ causes and their right to self-determination without foreign interference.

Also, a delegation from al-Baath Vanguards Organisation, Damascus countryside branch, visited the Russian Embassy to thank, in the name of the children of Syria, the friendly people of Russia and Russia’s support to Syria.

Secretary of the branch Hayel al-Ibrahim said the visit is aimed at thanking the Russian government and people who stood by Syria in the current crisis.

On a different note, a popular delegation from Daraa visited the Chinese and Russian Embassies and the Artists’ Syndicate to thank their positive stances regarding the current events in Syria.

Thousands of al-Mewana village and the neighboring villages of Safita in Tartous raised a 2000-meter long Syrian flag in support of the reform program led by President al-Assad, rejecting any foreign interference in Syria’s internal affairs.

Also, the Revolution Youth Union in Idleb organized an environment forum in Jisr al-Shughour, with the participation of 3000 volunteers from the city, to rebuild the parts of the city demolished by the armed terrorist groups.

Yamen Hussein, secretary of the Union’s branch, stressed the importance of participation in consolidating volunteer work and investing the capabilities of the youth in creating a state of interaction and raising awareness.

In Lattakia, ‘A Fingerprint of a Mother’ Society organized a public festivity, with local and Arab participation, including the participants at Mary Convoy delegation.

Dr. Rana Zanio and Nicola al-Hamwi, members of the organizing committee, hailed the outstanding role of the Syrian women during the crisis, with regard to raising family and social awareness.

Head of ‘Palestine Free’ Movement, Yasser Qashlaq, stressed that targeting Syria means to target the Arab history and the resistance.

MP Khaled al-Abboud said that the Syrian women set an example for commitment to the homeland and contributed to enhancing the national unity, stressing that Syria will overcome all crises.

For his part, International Relations Professor at Damascus University Bassam Abu Abdallah said that the conspirers’ bets on Syria failed due to the Syrian people’s awareness and culture.

The participants’ comments reflected their support to the reform program led by President al-Assad and their belief that Syria will come out stronger due to its people’s unity and rallying around their leadership.

Lattakia Youth Committee held a popular celebration under the title “Syria is Fine…Tomorrow is Better”, where the participants took the oath of loyalty to the homeland and the President.

The celebration organizers said these activities express the national sense of Lattakia people in the face of the conspiracy targeting Syria’s pan-Arab and national stances.

A number of Syrian and Lebanese singers and artists participated in the festival which was held later on.

In Aleppo, thousands of people participated in the activities of “Loyalty to the Army and its Commander” Festival, which was organized in cooperation with “Fingerprint of Syrian Youth” group in Saadallah al-Jaberi Square marking the Army Day.

Lawyers of Aleppo organized a stand in front of the Justice Palace to express their support to the comprehensive reform process and the national dialogue launched by President al-Assad, stressing rejection to all forms of foreign interference in Syria’s internal affairs.

They also condemned the terrorist acts committed with foreign support and called for holding the criminals accountable according to the regulations and legislations in force.
The participants hailed the role of the army in preserving the safety of the homeland and the citizens, expressing their unity in the face of all conspiracies which aim at undermining Syria.

Syrian Lawyers in Aleppo Stage a Sit-In against Whoever Wants to Undermine Syria

A number of lawyers on Thursday staged a sit-in in front of the Justice Palace in Aleppo city stressing their confrontation against whoever wants to undermine Syria’s strength and principles.

Aleppo lawyers chief Ahmad Haj Suleiman said in an interview with the Syrian TV that the lawyers’ mission is respecting law and rejecting all forms of hostility and sabotage.

He added that lawyers reject all plots and conspiracies against the homeland.
