Syrian refugees return home from Lebanon

A group of Syrian refugees returning home from the Lebanese city of Baalbek.

The Syrians, who had taken refuge in Baalbek, were filmed traveling to the border town of Tfail. From this remote village, access can be gained into Qalamoun, an area in the southwestern Rif Dimashq province of Syria.

A joint offensive by the Syrian Arab Army and Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah has recently cleared the area of the presence of ISIS and Hayyat Tahrir al-Sham, allowing refugees to return home.
