Syrian UN Ambassador slams US: ‘Coalition fought everything but terrorism’

Syrian UN Ambassador Bashar Al-Ja’afari slammed the U.S. Coalition during his brief speech at the UN Security Council meeting on Wednesday.

During his speech at the UN Security Council, Ja’afari accused the U.S. Coalition of using banned weapons against civilians in Syria’s Deir Ezzor province.

Ja’afari said the U.S. Coalition used white phosphorous while bombing the Islamic State’s (ISIS) positions in the eastern part of the Euphrates River Valley.

The Syrian diplomat would then say that the U.S. Coalition has done little in the fight against terrorists inside of Syria.

“This so-called Coalition has fought everything but terrorism,” Ja’afari told the UN Security Council.

The U.S. Coalition did not respond to the Syrian Ambassador’s allegations.
