Syrian Youth Gathering Activities Concluded by Draping Syrian Flag at Aleppo Citadel

The activities of the Syrian Youth Gathering initiative at the area around Aleppo Citadel, with the participation of tens of thousands from various youth, civil and popular activities.

The five-day activities included seminars and lectures by Syrian and Arab intellectuals to raise awareness among youths regarding the events and sneaky plots which are supported by US and its regional allies against Syria.

The activities were concluded by draping a Syrian flag measuring 80 by 30 meters at the foot of Aleppo Citadel, accompanied by releasing thousands of balloons of the colors of the Syrian flag and fireworks.

The gathering youths chanted patriotic slogans and songs, raising flags and pictures of President Bashar al-Assad, in addition to repeating slogans denouncing the biased channels and their handling of the events of Syria in service of foreign agendas.

Participants said that similar youth activities managed to unite the efforts of Syrian youths to become more proactive in society and adhere to the homeland in the face of the desperate attempts to undermine its people’s determination and its stability and security.

They called for continuing to organize such activities to further bolster national unity and rise up to the challenge posed by current events.
