Syria’s Mufti Calls Citizens to Remove Differences, Face Plot Hatched against Syria

Grand Mufti of Syria Sheikh Ahmad Bader Eddin Hassoun said the plot against Syria aims at destroying its economy and infrastructure, calling on the Syrian citizens of all spectrums to abandon their differences and close ranks to confront the dangers threatening the homeland.

During a charity Iftar organized Friday evening in Aleppo, Sheikh Hassoun stressed that the Arab region is passing through critical times and that many citizens are still ignorant of what is being hatched against this region.

For his part, Bishop of the Roman Catholic in Aleppo Yohanna Jenbert, expressed his hope that Syria will get out of this crisis stronger and more immune.

In turn, Governor of Aleppo, Ali Ahmad Mansoura, said that the Syrian people’s consciousness and commitment to the national unity is the only way to deal with anything that is likely to destabilize the country.
